(The screen is black but a noise can be heard. It can’t quite be called a riff, though it’s source if definitely an electric guitar. As the noise persists, the following words appear on the screen.)

The First Time...
We Set the Standard

The Second Time...
We Raised the Bar

This Time...
It’s Gonna Be a Massacre

(As the last of these words fade, the noise we’d heard gives way to the opening riff of “Bleed For Me” by Black Label Society. As the music plays we see a highlight reel of some of the most daredevil, death defying moments in FCW history. Tables, chairs, even the kitchen sink gets into the action. As the vocals come in, the highlights continue but four particular superstars are featured more prominently in the clips than the others. Those four are Mark Payne, Evenkiel, Hazard, and FCW World Champion Jean. As the first verse ends, we see more gruesome moves from the various wrestlers but, as the chorus comes in, the tone of the highlights changes. Instead of seeing the execution of various moves, we now get close ups of the wrestlers’ faces, most covered in blood, sweat, and tears. They are struggling, reaching down deep to find the will to continue. As the chorus ends, the music fades into the background and the logo for the pay per view comes on the screen.)

(As the title screen fades, the music gets louder again. It continues for the better part of a minute as the cameras pan the sold out Madison Square Garden crowd. It’s been a cold winter but this crowd couldn’t be hotter. Finally the music fades out completely and we cut to our announcers for the evening, Kevin Cole and Nik Cain.)

Kevin Cole: Full Contact Wrestling has come back to pay per view for the third installment of Pledge Your Allegiance!

Nik Cain: It really does feel like only yesterday that we were a bunch of punk upstarts coming to the Garden for the first time. Two years later we may still be punks, but we damn sure ain’t upstarts. And let me just say it’s great to be back home in New York City.

Kevin Cole: Wait, what the heck is Oblivion up to?

(As Reno closes the lid, Oblivion is seen crouching on the outside by the ring post. He has his back to the camera so it’s hard to tell what he is doing. Then he gets up, rushes over to Jay Reno, spins him around, and blows a ball of fire right in his face. He falls to the ground, his hands over his face, as Sudden Death moves towards them. As he nears, Oblivion hits the side of the casket, signaling The Messenger. The lid comes flying open. The Messenger sits up, and shoots a ball of fire at Sudden Death. He falls to the ground too. As The Messenger gets out of the casket, security tackles both men, as medical personnel rush to attend to both members of Death Squad.)

Kevin Cole: Oh dear lord! Oh...dear...lord! Oblivion and The Messenger have just attempted to burn and disfigure the members of Death Squad!

Nik Cain: Oblivion went off the deep end years ago, but lately I think he’s been letting himself sink to the bottom. He may be reaching a point where he simply is not of sound enough mind to compete here.

Kevin Cole: For once, you and I completely agree; this type of conduct is inexcusable!

Nik Cain: Medical personnel have taken Reno and Death out of here so the show must go on.

Kevin Cole: And go on it will! Brad Steel, Ray Hoffman, in a Handcuff Match!

Nik Cain: The name is a bit of a misnomer. Its more like a shackle match, since there is a chain about 15 or 18 inches long connecting the two. Still, you’re attached to your opponent, which can certainly complicate matters in the ring.

~~~~~
This contest is scheduled for one fall.
It is for the FCW Television Title.
Introducing first...
From St. Louis, Missouri...
Weighing in at 375 pounds...
The FCW Television Champion...
Explosion
(Explosion looks to be in a foul mood, very impatiently awaiting his opponent. The lights dim and some eerie music begins to play. One or two people probably recognize “Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima” by Krzysztof Penderecki but to most the identity of the music is as much a mystery as the identity of Explosion’s opponent. But that mystery doesn’t remain one for long as a man emerges from the curtain.)
Kevin Cole: It’s Nimrod! It’s Nimrod!
(The man is about 7 feet tall and 400 pounds. His body language every bit as lacking in emotion as the black leather mask that hides his face. He moves his head slightly to crack his neck but does not acknowledge the crowd or anything else. He just slowly, methodically walks to the ring. We cut back to the ring to see a now-irate Explosion.)
His opponent...
Fighting out of parts unknown...
Weighing in at 389 pounds...
The winner is Nimrod. Time of match: 0:08:07
Kevin Cole: And Nimrod has won the Television Title!
Nik Cain: To be fair, Explosion was at a real disadvantage. He had to prepare for an unknown opponent and it was not unreasonable for him to assume he would be facing someone smaller than him. He deserves a rematch, but you don’t threaten to break your boss in half and then expect him to be doing you any favors.
Kevin Cole: Up next, we have a ladder match between Aaron Riddick and Righteous Bounty Hunter!
Nik Cain: If you look above the ring, you’ll see a set of keys dangling down. The object is to get the keys, which are to a cage with Aaron Riddick’s brother in it.
Kevin Cole: That is disgusting!
Nik Cain: Disgusting? I don’t know about that. I mean, the guy is French Canadian. But, even if he is doing it to a French Canadian, I am pretty sure what RBH has been doing is highly illegal.
Kevin Cole: He did it! He did it! Aaron Riddick has retrieved the keys and, though he never should have been put in a position to have to, he has saved his brother! This promises to be a heart felt reunion!
(Bloody and banged up, Riddick takes the keys and slowly staggers over to where the cage is. After fumbling with the keys a bit, trying to find the right one, he opens the cage door. He then unshackles the man’s feet, then his hands. As he frees the man’s hands he is met with a punch flush on the jaw. The man then grabs Riddick by the head and rams his face into the cage over and over again before tossing him in and slamming the door shut.)
Kevin Cole: What the heck is going on here?
Nik Cain: A little sibling rivalry perhaps?
(The man then pulls off the mask to reveal that it wasn’t Riddick’s brother at all. The man inside the cage was really Samson all along. He dangles the keys in front of Riddick, mockingly, before chucking them into the crowd. Laughing, he walks away, leaving Riddick trapped.)
Kevin Cole: It was Samson! It was Samson in there all along! And he just threw the key to that cage out into the crowd!
Nik Cain: Sucks to be Aaron Riddick right now.
(As RBH and company head up the ramp, “Bullet” Bob can not resist throwing a few verbal barbs towards Riddick as well, laughing the whole time.)
Kevin Cole: Well we are going to break away for a brief intermission, while someone can hopefully get Riddick out of that cage.
Nik Cain: Heh, is there a locksmith in the house?
Kevin Cole: But, as soon as we get back, The Heretics will put their Tag Titles on the line against three other teams!
